A moment to relieve tension and produce calm. This is how the “Quietudes” exhibition can be defined, exhibition by artist and landscape artist Esther Bonder. The exhibition curated by Fernando Cocchiarale and Patricia Toscano, brings together more than 20 paintings whose work was born from the friction between the artist's gaze and the planar visual medium of the canvas, build detailed pictorial reinterpretations of natural and urban landscapes as a result of their most recent artistic research.

The excess of information bombed daily served as a source of inspiration for the artist in the construction of “Quietudes”. “The asphyxiation caused by globalization immobilizes people and, and often, few can stop and breathe, reflect and have moments of introspection. The exhibition exactly reinforces the importance of this calm, that can be achieved by contemplating nature, for example ", Esther explains.

Segundo Fernando Cocchiarale, one of the exhibition's curators, Esther's landscapes can be referred to the work of Roberto Burle Marx, painter and landscaper with whom Esther lived and worked. “The artist's knowledge and appreciation for the botanical world exude from these works. His painting is almost a cult of intact nature. A paradoxical search for existential purity through the meticulous pictorial re-reading that guides each exhibited work ”, the firm.

Exposure that needed to be delayed due to pandemic, now has a virtual version that allows interactivity and access to information about the works, and can be accessed through the link .artspaces.kunstmatrix.com/en/.exibition/2144312/quietudes?t=, through the artist's Instagram (@estherbonder) or by face-to-face visit with prior scheduling with a limit of up to three, respecting social distance, wearing masks and following all COVID-19 safety recommendations.
