The project Latitude – Platform for Brazilian Art Galleries Abroad promotes the day 18 of June, Tuesday, from 10 to 13 hours, at Cultural Unibes, in São Paulo, the thematic meeting "Art galleries and digital platforms: institutional to commercial ", that addresses the impact of the use of social media in the dynamics of the art market. The meeting is free and has the orientation of the researcher Ana Leticia Fialho and of Monica Novaes Esmanhotto.

In this issue, the journalist Caroline Carrion talks about his experience in communication Fundação Bienal de São Paulo. Already the gallery owner Bruna Bailune talks about his e-commerce experience with Aura Contemporary Art. Finally, in simultaneous interview format, advertising Lizandra Alvim and Caio White speak, respectively, on the portal of buying and artwork sales Blombach and the new fair sales system SP-Arte.

A series of thematic meetings is part of training program Latitude project, which provides five meetings from March to July, all in Cultural Unibes. The final takes place in 16/07, with the theme "Specific features and challenges of midsize galleries", addressing procedures and practices for business expansion.

Latitude – Platform for Brazilian Art Galleries Abroad

It is a program developed through a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Contemporary Art - ABACT and the Agency Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion - Apex-Brazil, to promote the internationalization of the Brazilian market for contemporary art. The museum was created in 2007, now has 46 primary market art galleries, located in seven Brazilian states and the Federal District, representing more than 1000 contemporary artists. Your goal is to create art business opportunities abroad, primarily through training activities, support for international integration and trade and cultural promotion.
