The soul of the artist can fly high, free blank spaces, on the tip of a small brush. And the Art will exercising your power transformer, through a look, through the love. Perhaps the path to a better world is to believe in the power of a global movement, engaging, charming in itself, combined with the beauty of Art. This is the main objective of the international event Elephant Parade.

ELEPHANT PARADE

The movement was started in 2006 by Marc and Mike Spits. When, on a trip to Thailand, Marc met Mosha, a baby elephant who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. The initial idea would be to promote a future to the little elephant. In 2007 the first exhibition was held in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands and the entity it was Moshe was one of the first organizations to receive donations from the event, and receives, to this day funds to take care of the mascot.

But the event became great. He engaged in protecting the elephants, because they may be extinct in 30 years, If something is not done now. An elephant dies every 15 minutes, by hunting, for the ivory trade; and your habitat has been reduced in 95%. This concern has moved the Elephant Parade organizers that currently supports projects in eight countries, for the preservation of species, through the sponsorship and the sale of objects connected to the project.

The exhibitions are among the largest in the world, and are in the open, the streets of major cities. The sculptures in white has the size of a baby elephant. Through them, the creativity of the artist walks freely, taking enchantment when looking, awakening to the awareness of the need for the preservation of species. And the event is now charming São Paulo. The Atelier, mounted on Shopping Ibirapuera, the sculptures, painted by great Brazilian artists, will follow in August, the city's most important streets. In September, they will be exhibited in the Ibirapuera Shopping Mall. In October, at the Hotel Tivoli Mofarrej, will the charity auction of works.
