The Publisher will Quadrinhópole this Friday (20), at 19h, in Curitiba Gibiteca, the launch of their new publications "the Rook-Artbook" and "classics Revisited # 3". On occasion there will be a chat and autograph session with the authors.
The volume “O Gralha” celebrates the 18 years of this superhero from Curitiba. In 160 color pages, The edition features new comics that have never been published before, as well as a series of behind-the-scenes curiosities, like the character creation process, original sketches, character sheets, views of the different artists who have worked with him, curiosities, appearances in other media and pinups made by great artists.
The “Classics Revisited” collection, which this year was nominated for the HQMIX award for best mix publication, retells classics of world literature from another perspective, always mixing dark themes. The title of this third volume is “Romance & Terror” and, as the name implies, The idea is to transform romance stories into horror tales.
There are ten stories in 120 comic pages signed by renowned authors: Samson and Dalia (Antonio Eder), Romeo and Juliet (Leonardo Melo and Paulo Kielwagen), Sleeping Beauty (Paco Steinberg and Antonio Eder), The Legend of Victoria Regia (Leonardo Santana and Emmanuel Thomaz), The Hunchback of Notre-Dame (Walkir Fernandes), Snow White (Carlos Machado and João Ferreira), The Perfect Woman (Leonardo Melo and Antonio Eder), The Little Mermaid (Carol Sakura and Thyago Macson), Brunhild's Curse (Matheus Moura and Joniel Santos) and Cleopatra (Report).
