The Government of São Paulo has already started registering cultural professionals for the payment of emergency basic income provided for in federal law 14.017/20, known as Lei Aldir Blanc, as well as the registration of spaces and cultural institutions that may receive the subsidy, to be paid by city halls.

The total resources allocated to the State of São Paulo under the Aldir Blanc Law is R $ 566 million, the state government directly received R $ 264 million and already had its action plan approved by the Ministry of Tourism. Of this amount, up to R $ 189 millions may be used to pay basic income, that will benefit about 63 thousand cultural professionals with R $ 3 thousand each and will allocate R $ 75 millions for cultural notices. The 645 state city halls will receive approximately R $ 302 million from the Federal Government.

Twenty-five were launched ProAC Expresso LAB notices, that should support achievement and reward 1,7 thousand projects and professionals from the cultural sector in the most diverse areas of culture, like theater, dance, audiovisual, visual arts, tangible and intangible heritage, events, circus, museums, literature, online cultural production, children's music and shows.

One of the most important lines of ProAC Expresso LAB will allocate R $ 20 million to a hundred circuses, hundred cinemas, one hundred museums and two hundred independent theaters from all regions of the state, in a total of five hundred cultural spaces.
