The inspirational works of great historical value of Arthur Bispo do Rosário and Steph will be the subject of a debate at the teatro do Sesc Sorocaba and a course notebook knitting embroidery, inspired by the works of two artists. The public can also enjoy the show with the duo's works, that will be in the exhibition space until the day 29 November.

"Penelope: a life of tecitura ", held on 8 October, Thursday, the 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, a date for the presentation and discussion of the exhibition “The Penelope” and artists Bishop of Rosario and Steph. The event will be held with educators of "Zebra5-game and art", a collective founded in 2008 who plays in cultural and educational institutions, with several actions related to playful and artistic universes. The course "Embroidery Notebook", with the educators Joana Salles and Dani Smith, in the days 17, 18, 24 and 25 October, Saturdays and Sundays, the 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in the exhibition space, teach participants to make a notebook embroidery, inspired by the works of Bishop of Rosario and Steph, with the stories and memories of each participant. The Penelope

The show "Arthur Bishop of Rosario and Steph: The Penelope ", curated by Ricardo Resende, will be on display at the exhibition space of the Sesc Sorocaba until the day 29 November, with visitation from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 to 9:30 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:0 to 6:30 pm.

The public can check, through 50 works, the similarity of the Rosario and Douglas Bishop, including the fact they use embroidery as a means of expression and deconstruction as a driving force of his works. The name of the show makes a reference to Penelope, mythological character from the Odyssey, the characteristics of which revolved around the acts of weave and wait.

The relationship between two people through art
