The Museum of sacred art promotes, the Free Course: “Symbology of flora and fauna” with Prof.ª Dr.ª Vanessa Beatriz Bortulucce.
Man's relationship with nature is very old and takes place in various ways; one of them was the creation of a symbolism of natural, where plants, flowers, Trees, fruits and animals assumed meanings beyond themselves. Creating a symbolism of nature narrowed and become more complex relationships between humans and their surroundings.
The course aims to present this grammar allegories and symbols, allowing resgatemos a special look at our world, and provide the perception that we are the heirs of this symbolic universe.

TEACHER
Vanessa Beatriz Bortulucce is post doc by the Department of modern Letters FFLCH-USP. Graduated in history from the State University of Campinas (1997), Master in history of art and culture from the University of Campinas (2000) and a doctorate in Social History from the University of Campinas (2005), is lecturer in the following institutions: Assumption University Center (UNIFAI), Universidade São Judas Tadeu and Museu de Arte Sacra de São Paulo. Has experience in the field of art history, acting on the following subjects: Arte Sacra, Modern Art, Contemporary Art, Italian Futurism, Umberto Boccioni, Aesthetics of totalitarian regimes, Comic strip, History of Design, Communication theory, Cinema, Cultural Industry, translation. Independent researcher, has your resume articles and books that address the analysis of the image, in their most varied contexts.

The content of this course is geared for art scholars, historians, professionals linked to literature and media, researchers, students and other professionals who use the image in their activities, and stakeholders in general.
