The Museu de Arte Sacra de São Paulo promotes a free course on “The Catholic Church sculpture baiana”, with the Prof. Claudia Guanais.
The course objective is to promote the polychromy of sacred sculpture Bahian Catholic, showing the various repertories used by artists throughout the centuries XVIII, XIX and XX. The aim is to also show the characteristics of the regional schools, as well as the characteristics of each period the student has a more refined look in relation to religious imaginary.

Claudia Guanais: master in Visual Arts by UFBA, Restorer of cultural assets, Coordinator of the conservation and restoration of the Museum of sacred art of the UFBA. Search the polychromy of sacred sculpture Bahian Catholic, where advocated in 2010 the dissertation with the title: "Standards, swirling and douramentos Catholic Church sculpture baiana in the 18th and 19th centuries ".
