The Eva Klabin House Museum opens on Saturday, 26 March, at 4:00 pm, the project “Eva Concertos – 2022”. To open the series concertos that will be held throughout the year, the cultural space, to Lagoa, brings the show “Estação Brasil: Music Festival”, Commanded Hair Duo Deborah Levy (piano/keyboard) e Daniela Spielmann (sax/flute). On stage, the artists opt for intertwined didactics the participation of the audience through clapping, corners, interesting questions about brazilian composers and games. The idea is to make the audience more attuned and interacting with the content.. In this way, naturally, it is possible to wake up more and more, the interest of children and young people in their own culture.
The Duo has already been awarded in public notices: in 2011, in the show “Chewing gum with Banana”, in Petropolis, created arrangements and interpretations for classics by Tom Jobim and Cole Porter. The experience was the embryo for the next project, awarded in the same year by the Municipal Department of Culture of RJ: “The music of Tom Jobim and Cole Porter”.
Known name of the national and international cultural scene, Daniela Spielmann is a saxophonist, flutist, composer, arranger, researcher and teacher. Got a Latin Grammy nomination (2002) and gave time for 14 years in the all-female band “Late hours”, program presented by Serginho Groisman, on TV Globo. Spielmann won Ibermusica Children's Composition Award, in 2020. The following year, was elected the best interpreter, with the composition “Anatilda”. He has shared the stage with big names like Sivuca, Zé Menezes, Zé da Velha and Silvério Pontes, Ana Cohen, Aurea Martins, among other.
Deborah Levy is a renowned pianist and keyboardist in the musical world., for your more than 25 year career. as instrumentalist, already played with Ana Carolina, a gang Celebrate (by 24 years) and participated in several musicals. In 2018, bet on solo flight as a songwriter, arranger and band leader, in addition to pianist. Since then, performed at the Ouro Preto Winter Festival, at the Rio Montreux Jazz Festival and at the Instrumental Sesc Brasil, to name a few. Also this year, was awarded as the best instrumentalist of Instrumental Music at the Music Festival of Rádio MEC. At this time, Deborah dedicates herself to the composition and recording of her new album "Our best view of the world".
