The traditional "Jaselka", Christmas festivity of Polish community, will be held next Sunday (3/12), from 12:00 to 6:00 pm, at the Memorial of Polish Immigration – Woods of Pope. In addition to the typical lunch, There will be performances by folk groups and the staging of auto Polish Christmas.
Several kiosks will be selling food and typical products from the Christmas 12:00. The artistic attractions have home at 1:30 pm, with the band Lyra Curitiba. Then they start the folk dances with ethnic groups: Spanish Centre of Paraná, German Group Alte Heimat, Original Einigkeit TanzGruppe Germanic Folkloric Group, Folk Group Piccola Italy, Polish Folkloric Group Wawel, Junak Group – Polish Folklore, Polish Folkloric Group Wiosna, Polish folkloric group Szarotka and folk group Polish Wisla.
The staging of traditional Polish Christmas will be at 5:00 pm, with the Polish Wisla folkloric group, of Curitiba and participation of John Paul II, under the conductor Maria Helena Kantor.

During the month of December, the Woods of the Pope will have exhibitions of more than 100 Nativity scenes in various regions of Poland, belonging to the private collection of Danuta Lisicki Abreu, artisans and descendants of Poles.
