Commemorations of the day of Hispanicity have presentation of folk group from Chile

The folk group Municipalidad de Vitacura, of Chile, will be in Curitiba next week for two performances that are part of the celebrations of the day of Hispanicity. The presentations take place in different locations: day 12, in the new Mall Batel (Teatro Paulo Autran), and day 13, in the chapel Santa Maria – Espaço Cultural, at 7:30 pm. Admission is free.

The group is made up of dancers and musicians who are dedicated to preserving the folk roots of Chile. Is maintained by the municipality of Vitacura, Community of approximately 80 1000 inhabitants located Northwest of the capital, Santiago. The show is inspired by the different cultures that make up the Chilean nationality.

The "day of Hispanicity" is celebrated in 12 October by Spanish-speaking Nations. In Chile and other Latin American countries is also known as the day of the Race, that marks the birth of the hispano-American cultural heritage, resulting from the merger of the original peoples of the continent with the Spanish settlers.

The coming of the Folkloric Group of Vitacura is promoted by the Chilean Colony of Curitiba, in partnership with the Cultural Centre of Spain.
