Cartel 011 hosts exhibition of ceramics made by women

São Paulo, October 2019 – Between the days 26 October and 17 November, the collective exhibition "The manual do as a possibility of resistance and freedom " occupies the space Cartel011. All works were produced only by women using ceramics as a basis for their artistic creations.

To explore how the handicrafts can be implemented in new ways and creative in the art, Analia Moares, Jamila Cruzado, Hanna Englund, Camila Martins, Roberta Cardoso, Pamela Moraes and Vava Milk demonstrate how such seemingly traditional practices remain particularly relevant to today's society.

The exhibition curator is Baptiste Demay, who invited Carollina Laureano to write the preface of the exhibition curatorial. During the opening, on 25 October, DJ Mayara Wui commands the pickup trucks, from 16h to 20h.
