To continue with the intention of connecting and reconnecting with the people of the big cities and the energy of nature through their art, urban artist and muralist Cadumen inaugurates his new exhibition “Mar de Prédios” at Alma da Rua Gallery, no Beco do Batman, This Saturday, day 20 de Mayo.

Through this metaphor, to exhibition shows a dive into the memories and feelings that the artist's relationship with São Paulo brings up. Thus, also tells stories of many ordinary Brazilians or foreigners full of hope who try their luck in this great city..

Works such as “Decipher me or I will devour you” show a little about how a metropolis can be cruel to the people who, either adapt to it or be chewed up by it. Other works, as "The Princess of the Waters" or "The King of the Waters", are about the illusion of winning in the big city.

But there is also room for the hope of belonging, as “The City Is Ours”, an interactive art installation that welcomes everyone, regardless of who they are and where they come from.

Above all, “Sea of Buildings” seeks the debate on how to make a metropolis more democratic, with more respect for the environment, more welcoming and above all more humane.
