Beth, Where were you born? And what is your academic training?

I was born in the middle west of Santa Catarina, a small city full of charms… I graduated in accounting and two years later went to college of visual arts with specialization in Fine Arts from FURB Blumenau.

How and when you give your first contact with the Arts?

Well, My first contact with arts takes place from childhood, I felt in me an overwhelming need to create, to vent my thoughts were that many, excelled me in school… and so it was for life!

How did you find this gift?

In fact, I believe that people around me have discovered my gift, I just liked, but not flattered me by him… to take account of the proportion that this gift took in my life!

What are your main influences?

Always very li… devouring books and especially art books… Not only liked to paint and draw, like reading about the history of art that formed over the years, and for me the Master Van Gogh was my inspiration… reproduced his works in impressionist drawings…

What materials do you use in your works?

I use acrylic paint, I recognize in it a greater challenge to my quick strokes. (But I've worked with aquarelados, coal and pastels).

What is your creative process itself? What inspires you?

What inspires me is without a doubt my fickle mind, I believe that on the screen we put what we are and what we feel… and I try to paint my will…

When you started effectively to produce or create your works?

Effectively as an artist, It was my first Vernissage, in the year 2000 in Hunter Town, Midwest of Santa Catarina!

Art is an intellectual production exquisite, where emotions are embedded in the context of creation, but in art history, we see that many artists are derived from other, following technical and artistic movements through time, you own any model or influence of any artist? Who would be?

As I said, I was always impressionism lover with its loose brush strokes, but some years ago, the irreverent Modern colorful Figurative attracts me… I'm a fan of Silvio Mattos, Valdonês of Ribeiro. contemporary Artists.

What does art mean to you? If you were to summarize in a few words the meaning of Arts in your life…

Art is for me a life choice… in my veins runs inks!

What techniques do you use to express their ideas, feelings and perceptions about the world? (Whether it is through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, photography… or uses several techniques in order to make a mix of different art forms).

Use paint, but I have worked with all this experimental college, but adopted painting as my way of expressing myself.

Every artist has his mentor, that person whom you mirrored that encouraged and inspired you to follow this career you, going ahead and taking your dreams the other expression levels, who this person is and how it introduced you in the art world?

I could cite teachers, that drove me, but I was being emptied of feelings, My father was my great mentor, who prided himself on every stroke made by crooked daughter… and him and for him I dedicate all my art!

You have another activity beyond art? You teaches classes, lectures etc.?

Yes, ministers weekly courses for art teachers!

Its major national and international exhibitions and their awards?

I attended three vernissages, five exhibitions and my two fellow artists… Our aim were not awards, we did not have this intention… expúnhamos and were selling masterfully our work.

Your plans for the future?

lol… continue painting…

In your opinion what is the future of Brazilian art and its artists? (in the general context) and why so many artists are giving preference to show their work in international exhibitions despite high costs?

The future of art as a whole in Brazil is sad, We are endangered, This is one reason so many good artists are migrating to other countries, the appreciation of art is unmatched, Unfortunately…

I have noticed that some traditional galleries are closing activities. Artists are giving preference to exhibit at Cultural Spaces. In your opinion what would be the cause?

costs, for the artist to keep his works in galleries it needs practically giving their art, so the gallery get over it desired profit… I believe we are living through difficult days, and what worries me most is not the choice for Cultural Spaces, but the artist's withdrawal, for no more survive their art!
