Saturday, 22 August, at 4:30 pm
In next Saturday's Philos Session, day 22, the public will learn a little more about the behind-the-scenes of the renowned North American newspaper The New York Times, in the documentary “Primeira Página: Inside the New York Times”. The film's production team followed the routine of journalists for a year, in a turbulent time for the industry, in which virtual sources such as WikiLeaks gained relevance, as the Washington Post scaled back its operations. The recordings made under the direction of Andrew Rossi gave rise to the feature film, which discusses the future of journalism and its moment of transformation.
