Until the day 24 of June, to Arte132 Galeria displays "The Flight of Matter”, show individual the artist Renato Brunello, which brings together a selection of 19 works sculptures produced in marble and wood.

The work of the sculptor proposes, essentially, the contrast between the symbolic dimension and the transversalities that cross his works, in addition to two other aspects that, although seemingly opposite, converge all the time: the lightness of what seems to fly and the weight of what lands and settles on the ground.

The curator, signed by Laura rago, exposes Brunello's figurativism, that occupies the entrance hall, and abstractionism, present in the main hall and gallery garden.

It was in his country of origin that Brunello acquired his training. In nearly five decades of production, the sculptor made experimentation – be it in the use of materials, whether in the bold search for forms – his means of expression. His trajectory was marked by the impetus given by Pietro Maria Bardi.

Since his training at the School of Arts and Crafts, in Venice, until its production in Brazil, the artist kept his technique anchored in the manual and personal execution of the sculptures.

Renato Brunello participated in important exhibitions, among them “Italy – Brasil – relationship between the 16th and 20th centuries, “Panorama of Brazilian Sculpture in the 20th Century”, both on MASP (Museu de Arte de São Paulo), and “Panorama of Current Brazilian Art – Sculpture and Object”, MAM (Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo). Art making is intrinsic to your being.
