Art Weekend São Paulo reaches 4th edition full of news

ABACT receives applications from art galleries from all over Brazil to 03 from June to 31 th July 2019

The 4th edition of Art Weekend São Paulo, will happen in days 8, 9 and 10 November, comes to town bringing many new. Among them, the event will international partnership "Gallery Weekend, workshops for children and adolescents in the public school system, artists' studios, guided city tours – highlighting hits on pounds – and roundtables on the topic.

conceived by Brazilian Association of Contemporary Art - ABACT, the Art Weekend São Paulo encourages the public to visit and know the galleries and cultural institutions partner, promote and advertise for free artistic and cultural activities of the city, beyond promoting new forms of partnerships and business. In 2018, the circuit featured 50 galleries, of which 12 They were from other cities, totaling over 100 shows and events and an audience of 3.000 people.

Some activities and services that were successful in previous editions will be held this year, such as They receive galleries galleries – project where paulistanas galleries welcome galleries from out of town -, special programs offered by the participants, as performances, launch of books, conversations with artists and curators from other activations. The Art Weekend will also have van service to connect the public to the locations of the various events.

To participate, galleries interested should complete the form (CLICK HERE) until day 31 July. Associated with ABACT do not pay to be in the event, while those who are not members must pay an administrative fee for participation. The regular participants will benefit from a special rate for fidelity.
