Alongside winners, Niterói also exposed by new artists

4º Visual Arts Salon has partnered the Alliance Française with the German Cultural Institute

Valuing art and encourage new artists are the proposals of 4° Salão de Artes Visuais de Niterói. The exhibition brings together works by 15 artists from various States and have vernissage on Thursday, 25 February, at 19h, at the Alliance Française. The institution promotes the event in partnership with the German Cultural Institute (ICG), through the France-Germany Culture Centre of Niterói.

Paintings, drawings, engravings, photographs, sculptures, videos and installations can be given simultaneously at the Alliance Française of Niterói and ICG, both in Icaraí. Showing diversity, the 4° Salão de Artes Visuais have award-winning artists works, as the publicist and designer Gabriel Gg, who participated in the International Fine Arts Competition 2014, in the United States. The place was among the 10 most original artists of the competition and received an honorable mention. The Pernambuco Ganapati Figueiredo also will be present at the show. His photographs depict scenes of everyday life and family have been finalists in contests in Spain, Hungary Portugal and Cape Verde.

Visitors will be able to meet the still photographs of the Impressionists paulistano Giancarlo Giannelli, that he exhibited last year at the Museum of contemporary art in Campinas. Francisco de Paula Vieira is another prominent artist of the exhibition.
