The programming is free on the YouTube of the Alliance Française Brazil and offers to the public, a series of videos of popular social-themed memes, in addition to Meme Language workshops, organized by researchers from the #MUSEUdeMEMES project, of the Fluminense Federal University, Rio de Janeiro (UFF).
The Week two Memes takes place throughout the month of November and is part of the November Digital, project in partnership with the French Embassy and the Institut Français for the discovery and dissemination of digital media and new technologies around the world.
The Aliança Francesa and the #MUSEUMS offer the public to #SeMeme – Week two Memes, an action dedicated to spreading the language of memes, present in digital culture, widely used in social media and how they fit into intercultural issues. The #SeMeme will have several activities throughout the month., always uniting Brazil and France in debates related to the universe of memes.
The programming is free and offers to the public, the Social-Themed Popular Meme Video Series, in addition to Meme Language workshops, organized by researchers from the #MUSEUdeMEMES project, of the Fluminense Federal University, Rio de Janeiro (UFF).
Of the day 8 to 13 November the series of 6 (six) videos, one per day, on the YouTube channel of the Alliance Française Brazil, with popular memes linked to important and current social themes. The videos are presented by the French meme producer and youtuber, Jeannot Nymouce and a guest researcher of the #MUSEUdeMEMES Project, from UFF. Topics like, regionalism, territorialities, gastronomy, reality shows, expressions, visual arts, activism, fiction movies, TV series, feminism and sport, present in the videos, will be available to the public to show that the meme, beyond humor it is a game that stimulates reflection on facts of contemporary culture. The age rating of the videos is 10 years.
To finish programming #SeMeme, two free language workshops of the two hour long memes. The first takes place on the day 11 November, to 18 hours, through the Zoom platform and will be taught by William Poppolin and Luiza Mello, of #MUSEUMofMEMES. The second workshop will take place in person, on 18 th November of 2021, at 18h, in the French Alliance of Botafogo and will be organized by Dandara Magalhães and Natalia Dias, of #MUSEUMofMEMES. The Linguagem dos Memes workshop is aimed at high school to graduate students, education and communication professionals interested in the universe of memes. The workshop will present a brief genealogy of memes until entering the world of internet memes. From there, the workshop takes on an interactive character presenting the different languages that internet memes are built, in order to understand how these products are implemented in communication strategies or in edu-communication practices.
The MUSEUdeMEMES website (museudememes.com.br) was opened in 2015 and aims to promote a diversified collection of Brazilian memes or memes that circulate in Brazil. In this perspective, #MUSEU's scientific research aims to assist in the construction of bibliographical references and theoretical-methodological studies, as well as fostering debate on themes related to the universe of memes.

Memes and regionalism, com Jeannot Nymouce
In this introductory video, Jeannot Nymouce talks about the relationship between memes and French regional culture. The importance of the number of departments in internet users' digital pseudonyms, to Neurchis groups on Facebook, that highlight regional clichés, going through “the Zermi of 92” and their remixes. Thus, we are looking for the history and actuality of some French-speaking memes.
Jeannot Nymouce analyzes internet memes in YouTube videos, Since August 2014. No programa “Mèmons-Nous!”, it analyzes the history and journey of famous memes and their impact on web culture.
Memes and Territorialities, with Beatrice de Melo
Thinking about how memes can unite or separate a group; how they can be used to recognize a group, or even how they can be used in contexts other than the original is the proposal of the video memes and territorialities, thinking especially for the #SeMEME.
Beatrice de Melo is a Scientific Initiation Scholar at #MUSEUdeMEMES, student of Media Studies at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and member of the Communication Research Laboratory, Political Cultures and Collaboration Economy (et al – UFF).

Most of the participation of reality TV viewers is crossed by the intense production and circulation of memes on digital platforms. In this video, we commented on some memes created by fans of the Big Brother Brasil program and their main characteristics. The objective is to reflect on the consumption processes of television products in contemporary times. Check!
Luiza de Mello Stefano is a PhD student in Communication at the Fluminense Federal University (PPGCOM-UFF). He is a member of the Communication Research Laboratory, Political Cultures and the Economy of Collaboration (coLAB-UFF) and the research group Televisions (UFF). His areas of interest include television studies., reality shows, digital culture and memes.

Memes, right and LGBTQI+, with and William Popolin
When we think about memes and expression, we can understand these artifacts as pieces mobilized to express repudiation or support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Have you ever thought that internet memes can contribute to the construction of an identity or, then, unite people politically?
Guilherme Popolin is a journalist and a PhD student in Communication at PPGCOM/UFF. He is a researcher associated with the Communication Laboratory, Political Cultures and Collaboration Economy (coLAB / UFF) and to #MUSEUdeMEMES. In this video we talk a little about the relationship between memes and politics and how this genre has been inserted in social movements or adopted by government. Dandara Magalhães is a doctoral student at the Post-Graduate Program in Communication at the Fluminense Federal University and holds a master's degree from the same institution.. Your research is related to politics., censorship, mood, and digital media. She was an extension fellow between 2014 and 2016 and has been working in the #MUSEUdeMEMES project since 2014.

In the fifth video, Jeannot Nymouce talks about memes inspired by characters from popular Francophone fictions, both no cinema and no YouTube. Memes and TV series, with Daniel Rios
Thinking of memes as an inside joke is to diminish the importance of this media artifact for identity construction. By analyzing memes and the TV series fan community, in this video we talk a little about how people make sense of memes, assisting in the media consumption experience.
Daniel Rios is a doctoral candidate in the Post-Graduate Program in Communication at the Fluminense Federal University and a Master in Communication from the same institution. He is a researcher associated with the TeleVisões research groups (UFF) and to the Communication Laboratory, Political Cultures and Collaboration Economy (coLAB / UFF). His areas of interest consist of television studies and streaming platforms, serial narratives and fan culture and meme circulation.

Memes and Feminism and Sport, with Letícia Sabbatini
It is possible to relate internet memes, sports and the fight for women's rights? In this video, we will answer this question, demonstrating how memes are not just for sharing jokes with friends, but also to demand changes and/or oppose them. From a series of examples, this video explains, then, how memes can also be fighting tools.
Letícia Sabbatini is a Master's student in Communication at Universidade Federal Fluminense (PPGCOM-UFF). Integrates the Communication Research Laboratory, Political Cultures and the Economy of Collaboration (coLAB-UFF), in addition to the #MUSEUdeMEMES team, where you collaborate as a website content editor. Her areas of interest include agendas related to feminist digital activism, chatbots and genre.

About #MUSEUdeMEMES
The #MUSEUMS is an extension project linked to the Media Studies course, of the Fluminense Federal University, Rio de Janeiro. The #MUSEUM is part of one of the activities of the Communication Research Laboratory, Political Cultures and Collaboration Economy – the coLAB-UFF.
The #MUSEUdeMEMES site was opened in 2015 and aims to promote a diversified collection of Brazilian memes or memes that circulate in Brazil; from the perspective of scientific research, the #MUSEUM aims to assist in the construction of bibliographical references and theoretical-methodological studies, as well as fostering debate on themes related to the universe of memes.
In 2019, #MUSEUdeMEMES held the exhibition The politics of memes and the memes of politics, at the Museum of the Republic, Catete Palace, in Rio de Janeiro. The exhibition ran between May and September, being extended twice, due to blockbuster.
