About Vincent Catala
Vincent Catala lives and works in Brazil since 2012. He is interested in long-term approach to specific territories, defined and opaque, that give us insight into different representations of the world and the interaction between notions of universality established through meetings and geographies.
Vincent regularly accepted public commissions related to urbanism and architecture (Paris Airport, MC & Saatchi Agency …). He also collaborates in Brazil with the international press (The World e M, Télérama, National Geographic, Revista Sunday Times …).
His work has been featured in several publications (Revista to, Fisheye …) and exhibitions in Paris, Amman and Rio de Janeiro. The Galerie VU presented a selection of photographs of its Brazilian series at the Grand Palais in the context of Paris Photo (2017).
