Collection meeting series, heritage and art market
The Eva Klabin House Museum offers, in the days 19 and 26 April and 03 and 09 de Mayo, at 8:0 pm, the event “The Art of Collecting III”, which includes a series of four meetings on collecting, heritage and art market. The action arises from the institution's interest in keeping alive its commitment to the legacy of its founder, the collector Eva Klabin, who generously bequeathed his home and collection to the city where he lived.
In its third edition, the annual meeting on the Art of Collecting appeared in 2019. Since the first year, it has aimed to bring together renowned and active personalities in the areas of collections, collecting, auctions, fairs and galleries to talk about this universe that arouses curiosity in the public. In 2022, the meeting will deal with one of the most interesting themes of art, which is the legacy of artists and collections, and will also deal with one of the most current and vibrant topics, what is Crypto Art.
During the four meetings, artists and collectors will talk about the different processes and solutions they have found or are developing to keep alive the legacies they have received or the legacies they intend to leave.. We will also have a specific meeting on Blockchain, NFT and CryptoArt, means that transform, every day, in important players in this niche of interest.
on the first date, César Oiticica Filho and Mari Stockler will talk about cultural and commercial continuity to the inherited heritage, with presentation and mediation by the curator Márcio Doctors.
Meetings will be online and free., with transmission through Eva Klabin Channel, the institution's youtube channel.
