Registration is now open for the 16th Contemporary Art Salon in Guarulhos, which aims to encourage the recognition and dissemination of the cultural production of contemporary artists from the city and the country as a whole, stimulating their artistic production and research of aesthetic character and allowing creative exchange between them.

In 2020, Guarulhos Visual Arts Exhibition returns renewed for another edition, making room for new trends, new looks, new insights; and returns in a time in transformation, under renovation, a time of new searches in relationships and lives.

In a changing world, nothing like art and artists in their inspirations and aspirations to point out contrasts and convergences; doubts and paths, new means and forms of action.

In this scenario, the 16º Visual Arts Salon of Guarulhos it also comes as a means of manifesting and materializing the new art, the new normal, new dialogues and questions. As differential, in addition to the Technical Jury, the Guarulhos Visual Arts Salon also has a Popular Jury, which opens up an opportunity for spectators and admirers to choose their favorite work.

The novelty of this edition is the return of the acquisition prizes both for those chosen by the Technical Jury, which will be announced at the opening of the Salon, as for Popular, announced on the official website and media of Guarulhos City Hall.

Brazilian and foreign artists can participate, including children under eighteen, provided that they meet the requirements established in the regulation, in categories: painting, drawing, engraving, sculpture, photography, digital art, object art and installation.
