10 YEARS OF THE MUL.TI.PLO

Gallery celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exhibition starting on the day 11 of december.

Exhibition brings together works by artists Célia Euvaldo, Eduardo Sued and Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro, the same ones that opened the space a decade ago.

The Mul.ti.plo Space Complete art 10 years of activity this December. To celebrate the date, the gallery presents the exhibition “COMO IN THE FIRST TIME”, with the artists who participated in the opening of the space, in 2010: Celia Euvaldo, Eduardo Sued and Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro. With critical text by Paulo Sérgio Duarte, the anniversary exhibition opens in 11 December and will run until 16 January. Visitors will be welcomed in accordance with health protocols against Covid-19.

São Paulo's Celia Euvaldo brings six oil paintings on canvas, in various formats, all made in 2020 and produced with its permanent rigor. Célia is one of the rare artists who dominates the scale of her paintings and solves each new work through a unique poetic struggle..

Carioca Eduardo Sued, that completed this year 95 years old and remains in full activity, presents an overview of his production from the years 80 until 2020. Owner of a unique work, notable colorist and one of the greatest Brazilian artists, Sued displays nine paintings.

Carioca based in Geneva, in Switzerland, with training at the prestigious École Supérieure d’Art Visuel, Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro presents her translucent stone sculptures, especially or alabaster. Uniting unexpected materials, Maria-Carmen asserts herself in the Brazilian Contemporary Art scene as well as the world as an important sculptor. At the exhibition, it brings together a set of floating objects that seem to deny gravity.
