Big Heart Parade – Urban intervention that warns of the risk of destruction of the Atlantic Forest – arrives in Belo Horizonte

After passing through São Paulo, a Big Heart Parade – Atlantic Forest Edition – arrives in the capital of Minas Gerais with the purpose of sensitizing the population, through Art, about the importance of preserving one of the main biomes on the planet.

Performed by Toptrends, company specializing in cultural marketing, curated by Thiago Cóstackz, multimedia visual artist and documentary filmmaker, to exhibition gathers 31 heart shaped sculptures, inspired by species typical of the region, created by artists engaged with the environmental cause. Renowned plastic artist Yara Tupynambá signs one of the works. The sculptures can be seen, for free, between days 3 and 31 de Mayo, in Liberty Square.

The native tree species represented at this event bring a very small portion of this richness that we have. About Thiago Costackz. Multimedia plastic artist, documentary filmmaker, curator, writer, composer and environmental activist, Cóstackz has been involved in more than 70 projects, most of them uniting art and sustainability, in Brazil and in the world.
