This week, the “Festival Toriba Musical” has two lyrical recitals, with sopranos Karen Stephanie and Aymée Elisa, and the Amabile Quartet playing Beethoven

Festival Toriba Musical continues to bring the best quality music to Campos do Jordão, in live presentations and with audience presence.

This week, three more presentations at Fireplace Room of the Hotel Toriba, at 7:30 pm.

In on wednesday, 11 Nov, a lyrical recital with the soprano Aymée Elisa and the bass Rogério Nunes. In solos and duets, they do program centered on songs from Broadway musicals. Highlights for “The impossible dream”, of The Man from La Mancha, “The sound of music”, of the rebel novice, and “Tonight”, the West side story.

In Friday, 13 Nov, the attraction is the Amabile String Quartet. The program has two of Beethoven's quartets, the numbers 1 and 4 do Opus 18, of the first series of works written for training by the German composer. This is one of the presentations Festival Toriba Musical to honor Ludwig van Beethoven, in this year in which the 250 years of your birth.

On Saturday, 14 Nov, another lyrical music recital, this with the soprano Karen Stephanie and the baritone Johhny France, accompanied at the piano by Antonio Luiz Barker.

The program, in solos and duets, have in the first part, opera songs. Among them “Pa-PA gene! Pa-pa-geno!”, from A Magic Flute by Mozart, “Live art”, by Tosca de Puccini, and “My lord marquis”, of The Bat of J. Strauss Jr. In the final part, popular songs like “'O Sole Mio”, “Granada” and “I'll leave with you”.
