On vacation: Chef teaches fun recipe to take kids to the kitchen

On vacation, what is not lacking in children is energy for games and devices, but for adults, especially in pandemic times, spend that energy creatively, healthy and dynamic is not always an easy task. A good tip is to take the kids to the kitchen and turn cooking into a great game.

“It is common to hear that cooking is not a child's place, but I think it's just the opposite. This environment can be playful, fun and welcoming for girls and boys ”, says chef Flávio Duarte.

With more than four years of experience in cooking courses for children, the chef also stresses the need to make cooking more common in the lives of little ones.

“When children start to be part of this routine, get to know the food, the cooking process and are interested in it, improving not only food, as well as the relationship with adults ”, complete.

To help start this process, the chef chose an easy and tasty recipe to win the attention and taste of children: pasta with sausage.

Let's go to the recipe!

Calculate-it 50 grams of pasta per child and 100 grass per adult, let's work with 300 grams in this preparation.

Ingredients

300 g. spaghetti type pasta
1 grated carrot
500 ml. of tomato sauce (can be homemade or ready)
Grated Parmesan cheese
300 grams of sausage

Way of doing

Chop the sausages into pieces of 5 centimeters. Spit near 5 raw pasta units in the sausage pieces, making them stay in the middle of the noodles.

Boil enough water to cover all the pasta.

In another pan prepare the sauce (homemade dressing is healthier for adults and children). In the mixture add the grated carrot and let it body.

When the pasta is cooked, drain the water and mix it with the sauce.

Serve the Parmesan cheese on the plate and good appetite.
